The last few weeks threw me way off and I still haven’t pulled myself back into my steady routine. I haven’t done any cross training and I didn’t run this morning. I’m going to run tomorrow morning and Saturday. Monday i will get myself back on track…..

Don’t be so hard on yourself! Yes, being off schedule sucks but life isn’t about a schedule and it certainly doesn’t run to a schedule. Just go with it, be kind to yourself and run when you can without it making you miserable or stressed. You’re doing great

Thanks! I do tend to try for perfection despite knowing better than to do that. I did get up and go today though!

Things rarely go as planned! Missing a few days isn’t going to affect your training in the grand scheme of things. You’ve been through a lot over the past few weeks. You deserve a little bit of time to bounce back. I’m the queen of getting frustrated when things get off track, but it’s always a nice when you get a reminder that IT’S OK.

Thanks! I do sometimes need to be reminded that it’s okay to take time off or not be perfectly on schedule.
